Meet Michele Silverman - Owner Baker

Michele Silverman is married to Gary, and mom to Jared and Hannah, and resides on Hilton Head Island. Michele grew up in a New York Italian home where her family was always passionate about food. From a very young age, her father and grandmother taught her how to cook and bake from scratch. This instilled the love of food that comes from her heart. 

Michele began her career in Human Resources, during which time she was also homeschooling her last child and needed an elective course to fulfill state education requirements. With her daughter, Michele enrolled in cake decorating classes and discovered her true passion. She extended her education in other technical areas to include sugar and chocolate work. With this passion and years of baking, Innovative Cake Creations was born.

As a cake designer, Michele is passionate and believes in hard work. She applies meticulous attention to detail with every creation. Her love for design allows her to help you create your dream cake. Every creation is made from scratch, using only the finest and freshest ingredients to achieve the best taste. This is how innovation and taste come together! And with so many dietary restrictions today, Michele offers gluten-free and organic options.

Creating cakes has always represented love and joy to Michele. She provides custom one-of-a-kind cakes for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. It is her desire to share that love and joy with others.
